It's the new steroid testing policy in major league baseball morally justified?
This is a problem. They are baseball players steroids? I can not believe it. Well, I can. I saw a skinny kid like Mark McGwire, his time in this important buff. Maybe he just worked a lot? Not know. But one thing is sure, baseball is a business. It is a big business. The players are employees. The safety of employees is a problem. It's a marketing problem and relations public. How does this affect the game? Unlike other drug problems, this is not a public safety issue. Or not? Players are role models? You know kids, Monkey See Monkey Do.
Steroids are illegal in this country. Why could they not be banned in baseball? The other thing is that most people associated with steroids like McGwire and Bonds, who used to be skinny and muscled up. While this is probably the case, which is not what is most of steroid users in all liklihood. Many users are probably average road types who are trying to be a little bit faster to do so. Or pitchers who take steroids, not necessarily to be bigger and stronger, but to help your body recover faster so they can pitch again in 5 days. Not only about becoming bigger and hitting home runs, but this is what you want to associate with. Just a list of who has been suspended under the policy so far.
